The short version

This site has no accounts, no comments, and no advertising cookies. We collect as little as the site can function with.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views in aggregate. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are denied by default, so no analytics cookies are set in those regions. In other regions, aggregate analytics are used; you can block them with any browser setting and the site will work normally.

Affiliate links

When you click a shopping link, you pass through an intermediate page at /go and then leave this site for the retailer. From that point the retailer's own privacy policy applies. The click itself is recorded in aggregate so we can tell which recommendations are useful; it is not tied to your identity.

Email

If you email the desk at margot@berryedit.com, we use your address to reply and for nothing else. We don't add you to a list without asking, and we don't sell or share correspondence.

Newsletter

If the site runs a letter, the subscription list is used only to send it. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top changes with it. Questions: contact the desk.
